An exciting opportunity has opened up for a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner. We are looking for a motivated healthcare professional who is ready to provide exceptional care to our patients in the orthopedic department. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, working closely with physicians, other nurse practitioners, and medical staff to provide the highest level of care to our patients. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the orthopedic field.

Responsibilities:

The Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:

1. Providing comprehensive and specialized orthopedic care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
2. Assisting orthopedic surgeons during surgical procedures and providing pre-operative and post-operative care.
3. Developing and implementing patient care plans, including long-term management and monitoring of conditions.
4. Educating patients and their families about treatment options, surgical procedures, post-operative care, and lifestyle changes to manage orthopedic conditions.
5. Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
6. Participating in research and continuous education to stay updated with the latest advancements in orthopedic care.
7. Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures, including patient confidentiality and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner position, the candidate must have:

1. A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
2. Board certification as an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner.
3. A minimum of 1 year of experience in orthopedic nursing, with a focus on patient care in a surgical setting.
4. Current and valid state Nurse Practitioner license.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
6. Strong clinical skills, with expertise in orthopedic assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and care.
