With our on-site advanced imaging, including digital x-ray and Roswell Open MRI, and state-of-the-art bone densitometry, we can diagnose and treat you as quickly as possible. Our Bone Health Clinic focuses on preventative care. We screen, diagnose and treat osteoporosis to prevent painful fractures in the future. Our Roswell Physical Therapy Department is staffed with highly trained physical therapists that provide the rehabilitation you need, in close collaboration with your provider.

We are looking for a dedicated Orthopedic Nurse Physician Assistant to join our dynamic medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a high standard of patient care in the field of orthopedics, assisting physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, and performing a variety of medical procedures. This role requires a deep understanding of orthopedic procedures and a passion for improving patient lives. The successful candidate will be part of a team that is committed to providing the highest level of care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive orthopedic care under the supervision of a physician, including conducting physical examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests, and formulating treatment plans.
  • Assist physicians in orthopedic procedures, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
  • Educate and counsel patients and their families on treatment plans, surgical procedures, and postoperative care.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a high standard of patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring all relevant information is documented and updated.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in orthopedic care and participate in continued education opportunities.
  • Adhere to all relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a Board Certified Physician Assistant.
  • Experience as an Orthopedic Physician Assistant is preferred, but not required.
  • Orthopedic experience is strongly preferred.
  • Our team is willing to train anyone willing to learn orthopedics.
  • Excellent diagnostic skills and a strong ability to interpret medical tests and information.
  • Proficient in performing various orthopedic procedures and techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to educate and counsel patients and their families effectively.
  • A deep commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating good collaboration and cooperation skills.
  • Must have a strong understanding of healthcare laws, regulations, and standards.
