We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting OSP Engineer to join our world-class team of experts. This role is critical in providing top-tier consulting services to our esteemed clientele, focusing on outside plant (OSP) and inside plant (ISP) engineering. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of pole and conduit licensing procedures, fiber network route design, and aerial or underground facilities. This position will require the application of your extensive AutoCAD experience and a keen ability to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide consulting services to clients regarding OSP and ISP engineering, including design, installation, and maintenance.
2. Leverage your expertise in pole and conduit licensing procedures to ensure all projects adhere to necessary regulations and standards.
3. Design and implement fiber network routes, considering both efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
4. Provide guidance and recommendations on the use of aerial or underground facilities based on project requirements and constraints.
5. Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed and accurate designs, plans, and schematics for OSP and ISP projects.
6. Identify and troubleshoot issues in the network design and implementation process, leveraging your strong problem-solving skills.
7. Maintain proactive communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring all parties are kept informed of project progress and any potential issues.
8. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our consulting services.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in OSP and ISP engineering, specifically in pole and conduit licensing procedures.
3. Extensive knowledge and experience of fiber network route design.
4. Familiarity with aerial or underground facilities and the unique challenges and opportunities they present.
5. Proficiency in AutoCAD with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a track record of resolving complex technical issues.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to maintain open and proactive communication with various stakeholders.
8. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
9. Ability to stay updated on industry trends and technologies, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
