Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care in an outpatient primary care setting, ensuring a high level of comfort and safety at all times.
- Conduct patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and interpret test results.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and the appropriate management of illnesses and injuries.
- Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and emerging trends in outpatient primary care.
- Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to nursing practice.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient primary care setting.
- Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is highly desirable.
- Exceptional clinical skills with a strong focus on patient safety and quality of care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population and multidisciplinary team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound clinical decisions.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Commitment to continued professional development and lifelong learning.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
