The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience selling PVF to Distributors, not end users. This is a traveling role and you will cover a territory and should have experience in a similar role. Only candidates with PVF sales experience to distributors will be considered.
This role can sit out of anywhere in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New York or New Jersey.
We need a hunter/gatherer personality, someone to break into new distributors.

Responsibilities:
- Actively grow a new sales territory and then manage your business
- Use our huge catalog of products and services to meet customers' needs.
- Understand each customer's sales needs to provide real, effective solutions.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Prospect and develop new sales opportunities within the Pennsylvania and Massachusetts territory.
- Conduct regular client visits to ensure product satisfaction and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Engage in strategic lead generation activities.
- Perform cold calling activities to potential prospects.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps.
- Develop and implement territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry for pipes/PVC/Valves/Fittings
- Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets selling to distributors, not end users.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and driven individual, comfortable with a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Demonstrable experience as a 'hunter', with techniques for B2B sales, prospecting, territory management, lead generation, cold calling, and account management.
- Knowledge of PVF, Pipe, and Valves is a must.
- Ability to travel within the Pennsylvania and Massachusetts territory.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM technology.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
