Job Details

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the packaging engineering team, ensuring projects meet quality, regulatory, and safety requirements.
  • Oversee packaging development, working closely with headquarters and suppliers to execute projects effectively.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and vendors to develop packaging that aligns with product and brand objectives.
  • Manage new product packaging from concept to commercialization, focusing on specifications, machinery, and process optimization.
  • Design and implement sustainable packaging solutions that balance cost, performance, and environmental impact.
  • Support co-packing operations and process improvements for quality and cost efficiency.
  • Research and evaluate new packaging materials for safety, sustainability, and performance.
  • Conduct packaging tests from R&D to full-scale production to ensure integrity and seamless transitions.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitive products, and regulatory updates.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Food Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in packaging development within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Hands-on experience with packaging design, development, and testing.
  • Strong knowledge of packaging materials, machinery, and production supply chain requirements.
  • Experience working with packaging suppliers and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance in packaging.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
