Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Develop and improve packaging specifications, materials, and processes from concept to commercialization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create packaging solutions that meet cost, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct material testing, packaging analysis, and ensure compatibility with production equipment.
- Stay current on packaging technologies, sustainability trends, and industry regulations.
- Identify and evaluate new packaging materials and potential co-packers for new product development.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to implement innovative packaging solutions.
- Support product quality improvements and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Troubleshoot packaging defects and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain quality management systems (QMS) for assigned products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
- 6-10 years of packaging development experience in the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of packaging materials, technologies, and testing methods.
- Understanding of food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working with packaging suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
