Key Responsibilities
- Draft and review discovery, deposition summaries, and legal filings
- Manage litigation calendars, deadlines, and trial schedules
- Prepare medical chronologies, exhibits, and expert disclosures
- Coordinate directly with attorneys and clients from intake through trial
- Maintain case files using Clio or similar platforms
Must-Have and Preferred Qualifications
Must Have:
- Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience in insurance defense litigation
Nice to Have:
- Background in transportation law, trucking, premises liability, or general liability
- Familiarity with Clio or similar legal case management software
- Experience organizing medical records, expert disclosures, and trial prep materials
- Strong drafting skills for discovery, deposition summaries, and filings
- Comfortable working independently in remote or hybrid environments
