PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Assist in drafting and managing residential real estate contracts, conducting due diligence reviews, and preparing memoranda, closing documents,
- Provide support to attorneys in real estate matters, including co-op/condo board interactions, lease negotiations, and title-related issues.
- Organize and maintain transactional files while ensuring efficient communication and timely updates.
- Facilitate real estate closings by coordinating schedules, liaising with all involved parties, and assembling comprehensive closing binders.
- Handle a high volume of cases while meeting critical deadlines.
- Communicate directly with clients to support transactions and provide regular progress updates.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least two years of experience providing support in transactional real estate law, with a focus on residential properties or co-op/condo transactions.
- Knowledge of co-op and condominium procedures, due diligence processes, title and survey reviews, lease agreements, and real estate closings.
- Proficiency in reviewing and preparing legal documents.
- Strong client communication skills, with the ability to provide timely updates and facilitate smooth transactions.
- Exceptional organizational and follow-up abilities to manage a high volume of cases effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant legal software tools.
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to interact with a diverse range of attorneys, clients, and staff.
