We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Permanent Paralegal to join our dynamic Personal Injury Litigation team. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with our accomplished lawyers and contribute to high-profile cases. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in personal injury litigation, a comprehensive understanding of NJ Law, and a strong command of Microsoft Office. The candidate must also have experience in E-filing and preparing for hearings. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Paralegal in our Personal Injury Litigation team, your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Assisting attorneys in all stages of personal injury litigation cases from onset through post-trial.
2. Collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing complex legal and factual information to make legal arguments.
3. Drafting pleadings, motions, and appellate documents, and filing them with the court.
4. Preparing for hearings, trials, and meetings by organizing exhibits, assisting with witness preparation, and ensuring all necessary materials are ready and in order.
5. Conducting legal research and investigative tasks to support ongoing cases.
6. Coordinating the delivery of subpoenas and managing document production.
7. Serving as a liaison among all parties including court personnel, attorneys, clients, and other service providers.
8. Maintaining case management system, effectively handling deadlines, and ensuring compliance with established legal standards and protocols.

Job Details

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 10+ years of experience as a paralegal in personal injury litigation.
2. Proficiency in NJ Law and a comprehensive understanding of the legal procedures, terminology, and documentation pertinent to personal injury litigation.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
4. Experience with E-filing systems.
5. Strong skills in drafting and preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, and preparing for hearings.
6. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
8. A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved institution is preferred.
