This position is full-time (37.5 hours per week) and will support a shareholder in a non-litigation setting. Office hours are flexible and hybrid schedules are available.

Job Details:
Our prestigious Legal firm is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Paralegal specializing in Trademark and Intellectual Property (IP). This is a hybrid, permanent position where you will be a critical part of our IP team, assisting attorneys with all aspects of trademark and intellectual property rights. Responsibilities:
1. Assisting attorneys with the preparation, filing, prosecution, and maintenance of US and foreign trademark applications.
2. Conducting and analyzing preliminary trademark clearances.
3. Monitoring, managing, and assisting with enforcement of trademark portfolio.
4. Assisting with intellectual property due diligence in connection with potential acquisitions.
5. Drafting and filing copyright applications.
6. Managing and updating the IP database and docketing system.
7. Communicating with clients and foreign associates regarding application status and related matters.
8. Assisting with patent prosecution, including preparing patent applications and responses to office actions.
9. Conducting legal research and preparing reports on findings.
10. Assisting with litigation matters, including drafting pleadings and discovery, and managing case files.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 1 years of paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department, with a strong focus on trademark and IP.
2. A bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program, or equivalent experience
3. Familiarity with USPTO procedures and TTAB proceedings.
4. Proficiency in patent prosecution, including drafting patent applications and responses to office actions.
5. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Proficiency in using legal research software and IP docketing systems.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
