Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and trial strategy.
2. Assist attorneys in all aspects of trial preparation including organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, drafting trial documents, and coordinating witness preparation.
3. Provide trial support including attending trials, managing exhibits, assisting with jury selection, and taking trial notes.
4. Coordinate and manage document production and discovery, including e-discovery.
5. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents as required.
6. Liaise with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel in a professional manner.
7. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
8. Manage case files and documentation, ensuring all relevant information is easily accessible and organized.
9. Stay abreast of changes and developments in the law and inform attorneys of any changes that may affect their cases.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field. A Paralegal Certification is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, with significant trial experience.
3. Proven experience in legal research, litigation, and trial support.
4. Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court rules and procedures, and legal document formatting.
5. Proficiency in using legal research software and other legal databases.
6. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
7. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Strong ethical judgment and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
