A bit about us:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will assist our attorneys in all stages of legal proceedings, from the initial intake through trial. The Paralegal will be responsible for maintaining accurate case files, working with our team to develop legal arguments and draft legal documents, and assisting in the discovery process. This role requires a deep understanding of legal terminology, excellent research skills, and the ability to manage complex tasks efficiently.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and management of cases from discovery to trial.
  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, briefs, and other court filings.
  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on various legal issues.
  • Review, analyze and organize documents related to case preparation.
  • Assist with the drafting of interrogatories, notice of deposition, and request for admission.
  • Ensure all legal documentation are prepared and filed in a timely manner.
  • Manage and update case files as new material is received.
  • Provide legal assistance to attorneys during trials by handling exhibits, taking notes, or reviewing trial transcripts.
  • Coordinate and manage the calendar, deadlines, and case schedule of attorneys.
  • Maintain compliance with all legal standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
  • Paralegal certification is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal.
  • Proven experience in drafting, discovery, drafting discovery, interrogatories, notice of deposition, request for admission.
  • Proficient in legal research, legal writing, legal documentation, case management, legal compliance, document review, legal assistance, and drafting legal documents.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and principles.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
