Currently we are hiring a skilled Paralegal to support our medical malpractice litigation practice. This full-time, in-office role will work closely with our attorneys to manage complex cases involving catastrophic injuries caused by medical negligence. Job Details
Education: Paralegal certificate from an accredited program or equivalent experience; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: 2–5 years of paralegal experience focused on medical malpractice litigation, with a proven ability to handle medical records analysis and case preparation. Illinois experience preferred.
Skills: Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare standards; proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and case management software (e.g., Clio). Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in fast-paced settings.
Personal Attributes: Compassionate, client-focused, and able to manage sensitive information discreetly. Strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred: Experience with Illinois medical malpractice statutes, familiarity with HIPAA compliance, or prior work with catastrophic injury cases.
