Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Document Preparation: Format and proofread legal documents and correspondence specific to personal injury cases, including but not limited to discovery, pleadings, deposition notices, subpoenas, trial binders, and reports to insurance carriers.
2. Case and Deadline Management: Maintain accurate case documentation, manage deadlines related to personal injury cases, and coordinate scheduling to ensure smooth case progression.
3. Communication: Conduct professional and timely communications with clients and attorneys, facilitating effective information exchange in the context of personal injury litigation. Spanish-speaking abilities are a plus, as it would enhance communication with our diverse client base.
4. Court Filings: File matters and documents with state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with electronic court filing and paper filing procedures.
5. Administrative Tasks: Answer phones, scan and distribute incoming mail, and manage files in the document management system.
6. Legal Compliance: Stay informed about local rules and statutes applicable, ensuring adherence to all necessary guidelines specific to the personal injury field.


Qualifications:
  • Legal Case Management: 2 Years (Required)
  • Personal Injury Experience (Preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Requirements:
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent reading and comprehension skills.
  • Strong grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments effectively.
  • Familiarity with electronic court filing and paper filing procedures for various jurisdictions, including local rules and statutes, specifically in the context of personal injury law.
  • 2+ years of experience in a law firm setting, preferably with a focus on personal injury.
  • SPANISH-SPEAKING ABILITIES ARE A PLUS.
