We are seeking a talented and experienced Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will provide high-level support to attorneys and clients in a broad range of immigration-related services, with a focus on O-1 and NIW petitions. This is a fast-paced, high-volume position that requires the ability to manage multiple projects at once, meet tight deadlines, and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and file a broad range of immigration-related applications and petitions, focusing on O-1 and NIW petitions.
2. Conduct comprehensive case analysis to determine the best course of action for each client.
3. Collaborate with attorneys to strategize and prepare cases, ensuring all documentation and evidence is gathered and submitted correctly.
4. Manage case timelines and deadlines, ensuring all applications and petitions are filed in a timely manner.
5. Maintain thorough and accurate client records in the case management system.
6. Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and documentation, and to keep them informed of case progress.
7. Stay abreast of changes in immigration law and procedure, and communicate these changes to attorneys and clients as necessary.
8. Assist with other legal and administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal in the legal industry, with a focus on immigration law.
2. Proven experience with O-1 and NIW petitions.
3. Proficiency in case management software and other legal technology.
4. Exceptional organizational skills and a proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Strong attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality work under pressure.
7. A commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of professional conduct.
8. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
9. Paralegal certification is an asset.
