We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to a fast-paced, innovative organization with a diverse legal portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive paralegal support, including drafting legal documents and providing litigation support.
Responsibilities:
1. Draft and revise a wide variety of legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, contracts, and corporate documents.
2. Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
3. Assist with all phases of the litigation process, including fact investigation, document collection, review and production, deposition preparation, and trial support.
4. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including attorneys, clients, and court personnel, to coordinate legal activities and ensure timely completion of tasks.
5. Manage case files and legal databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
6. Monitor legal developments and regulatory changes relevant to the organization's operations and provide timely updates to the legal team.
7. Assist in the preparation and filing of corporate reports and other compliance documents.
8. Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and handling correspondence.
Qualifications:
1. Demonstrated proficiency in drafting and revising a wide range of legal documents.
2. Solid experience in litigation support, including experience with discovery, trial preparation, and case management.
3. Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex legal concepts and principles.
4. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
6. High degree of professionalism and discretion, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
8. Paralegal certification or equivalent legal qualification is preferred.
9. Knowledge of the legal industry's regulatory environment and compliance requirements is a plus.
