Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters, including preparing pleadings, discovery, and trial materials.
  • Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contracts, and legal memoranda.
  • Managing case files, tracking deadlines, and ensuring timely filing of legal documents.
  • Coordinating and managing document reviews and productions.
  • Providing litigation support, including assisting with deposition preparation, trial preparation, and witness interviews.
  • Interacting with clients, maintaining excellent client relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Ensuring legal compliance in all activities and tasks.
  • Utilizing legal software for case management and document management.
  • Assisting with conflict resolution and negotiation processes.
  • Transcribing legal documents and proceedings.
  • Upholding the highest standards of legal ethics and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in plaintiff personal injury and first party property cases.
  • Exceptional legal writing, research, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in legal software and case management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management skills.
  • Superior critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Familiarity with legal discovery processes and legal transcription.
  • A strong understanding of legal ethics and a commitment to upholding high ethical standards.
  • Paralegal certification is preferred but not required.
