Responsible for the delivery of high-quality pre-hospital care. The paramedic is usually the primary Advanced Life Support care giver, as defined in Division 2.5 of the Health and Safety Code and Title 22, California Code of Regulations. Manage each scene and available resources in a manner that provides the highest quality patient care and customer service by performing the following duties;

We are currently seeking an experienced, dedicated, and compassionate Paramedic to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role is ideal for candidates who have a passion for providing life-saving emergency medical care, and who are dedicated to improving patient outcomes. As a Permanent Paramedic, you will work closely with a team of medical professionals to provide immediate response to emergency medical 911 calls. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Paramedic, you will be tasked with:
1. Responding immediately to emergency medical 911 calls, assessing the patient's condition, and implementing appropriate medical procedures as required.
2. Administering a range of medical procedures such as intravenous access, airway management, and drug administration.
3. Using sophisticated medical equipment and tools to monitor the patient's vital signs and to provide advanced life support (ALS) during transport.
4. Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to provide the highest level of care to patients.
5. Documenting patient information, treatment plans, and interventions in a clear and concise manner.
6. Participating in continuous education and training opportunities to stay updated with the latest pre-hospital emergency care techniques.
7. Maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of emergency vehicles and equipment.
Qualifications
To be considered for the Permanent Paramedic role, candidates must possess:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paramedic or in an equivalent role.
2. Current Paramedic license issued by the state.
3. Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
4. Ability to make quick decisions under high-stress situations.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform a variety of tasks, including lifting and moving patients.
7. A clean driving record.
8. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
