We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Part-time Tax Manager to join our growing Consulting team in the Accounting and Finance industry. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and has a passion for tax accounting. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in income tax and hold a CPA certification. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar position. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing and facilitating the accurate preparation and filing of our company's state and federal tax forms.

  • Advise clients on tax planning and tax issues associated with business structures, transactions, and financial compliance.
  • Review and prepare income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Research and resolve tax and accounting issues affecting our firm.
  • Manage a client portfolio, providing high-quality service and developing strong advisory relationships.
  • Provide innovative tax planning strategies and compliance expertise to clients; perform research and prepare/review technical tax memorandum.

Job Details

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in public accounting with a heavy emphasis on taxation (at least 3 years of Manager level experience).
  • Experience with income tax, corporate, partnership, and high-net-worth individual returns.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
