Partner / Attorney - Technology, Privacy & Data Security (100% remote from CA, IL, TX or DC)

National boutique law firm with a focus on the intersection of privacy and data security, advertising and marketing, and technology. They advise clients ranging from Fortune 100 corporations to start-ups and ranked both globally and nationally. The firm’s partners previously led teams at large national law firms and in-house, and their lawyers are well-known in the firm’s core practice areas.

Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on data security and privacy compliance.
• Draft privacy and data security-related policies and agreements.
• Draft and negotiate privacy (including DPAs), advertising, online advertising and/or technology contracts.

Qualifications:

• REQURED: portable book worth at least $500,000
• 8+ years as an attorney practicing in Technology and/or Privacy & Data Security law.
• Admitted to practice in California, Illinois, Texas, and/or Washington D.C.
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Ability to travel for internal and client meetings as expected.

Preferred:

• Experience in a specific industry such as online gambling or alcohol.
• Deep understanding of numerous data security and data privacy laws and regulations.
