We are currently seeking a Partner to join our Commercial Real Estate division.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned legal professional in commercial real estate transactions to contribute to our firm’s growth and success.
The individual will be responsible for managing a broad spectrum of commercial real estate matters, including leasing, investment, development, purchase and sale transactions, HUD-insured financings, 1031 exchanges, and more.
You would be expected to bring a small book of business with you.

The individual will be responsible for managing a broad spectrum of commercial real estate matters, including leasing, investment, development, purchase and sale transactions, HUD-insured financings, 1031 exchanges, and more.
You would be expected to bring a small book of business with you.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, and financing documents.
- Provide expert advice on property management, leasing, acquisition, disposition, and financing of commercial real estate.
- Conduct due diligence investigations and manage all aspects of closing transactions.
- Handle HUD-insured financings and 1031 exchanges.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their legal needs and business objectives are met.
- Collaborate with other legal professionals within the firm to ensure a comprehensive legal service delivery.
- Keep abreast of laws, regulations, and industry trends related to commercial real estate to provide accurate and up-to-date advice to clients.
- Contribute to the firm's business development efforts, including participating in industry events and networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the North Carolina Bar.
- 8+ years of experience in commercial real estate law
- Proven track record of handling complex commercial real estate transactions.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.
- Portable book of business
