We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Permanent Partnership Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to contribute significantly to our company's financial growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This position requires advanced knowledge in Excel and ideally some SQL, and PowerBI.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the entire accounting process for multiple partnerships, including reconciliations, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulatory bodies.
  • Work closely with external auditors during financial and operational audits.
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other statutory filings.
  • Use advanced Excel, SQL, and PowerBI skills to automate accounting processes, create financial models, and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc financial analyses as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a partnership accounting role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and PowerBI is prefered
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax laws, and other applicable regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement accounting policies and procedures.
