Job Details
We’re seeking a Patent Agent with technical fluency in software and computer systems to join our Intellectual Property practice. This is a great opportunity to work with forward-thinking tech clients and help protect innovative software-driven solutions.
What you’ll do:
Prepare, file, and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications related to software technologies including cloud systems, virtualization, operating systems, and middleware.
Work directly with engineers, inventors, and legal teams to develop and refine patent filings.
Assist with portfolio strategy, patentability analysis, and responses to Office Actions.
What we’re looking for:
2–5 years of patent prosecution experience focused on software technologies.
A degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and prior work experience as a software developer.
USPTO registration is required.
A collaborative mindset and strong technical writing skills.
