Job Details

We are seeking an attorney with 6 or more years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution matters, specifically in the mechanical arts. This position is partnership track and provides an excellent compensation and benefits package. Open to associate, counsel, and partner level candidates. This position can be based in any one of our offices and is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities:

Manage patent preparation and prosecution in the mechanical arts.
Provide strategic counsel on intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
Conduct thorough patent searches and provide detailed analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support client needs and develop innovative legal strategies.
Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and legal developments.
Requirements:

Mechanical engineering degree with strong undergraduate curricula and grades.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Bar in the relevant state.
6+ years of relevant experience in patent law and intellectual property.
Excellent analytical, writing, research, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
