Responsibilities
- Support patent and trademark litigation matters from pre-suit investigation through trial and resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to IP disputes
- Assist with discovery strategy, including depositions and expert work
- Conduct legal research and prepare analyses on patent validity, infringement, and enforcement
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client counseling
- Help advise clients on IP enforcement strategies to protect their innovations
Job Details
Requirements
- JD from a competitive law school and admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 1-5+ years of experience focused on patent litigation
- Strong understanding of IP law, including patent validity and infringement issues
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly with clients
