Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Consulting Patient Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

1. Coordinating patient scheduling, registration, and financial consultation processes.
2. Managing patient accounts, including processing payments, handling insurance claims, and resolving any billing discrepancies.
3. Liaising between patients and healthcare providers to ensure a smooth financial process.
4. Providing financial consultation to patients, explaining costs, payment options, and insurance coverage in a clear, empathetic manner.
5. Collaborating with the accounting team to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations.
6. Assisting with financial reporting and analysis, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvement.
7. Developing and maintaining relationships with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients.
8. Providing Spanish language support to patients and team members, if necessary.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Consulting Patient Coordinator role will have:

1. A minimum of 1 years of experience in a patient coordination role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
2. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when handling financial data.
3. The ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
4. Proficiency in Spanish, both written and spoke a PLUS!
5. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
