A bit about us:
We are seeking a skilled Patternmaker to join our foundry team. The Patternmaker will be responsible for creating, repairing, and maintaining patterns and core boxes used in the production of metal castings. This role requires strong craftsmanship, attention to detail, and experience working with wood, plastics, and metal to ensure accurate and durable patterns that meet production standards.

Job Details
Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications to build precise patterns.
Construct, modify, and repair patterns, core boxes, and match plates for foundry castings.
Use woodworking machinery, hand tools, and measuring instruments to produce accurate components.
Ensure dimensional accuracy, proper draft, and shrinkage allowances in all patterns.
Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve design or manufacturing challenges.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following company safety standards.
Inspect and verify completed patterns for quality assurance prior to use in molding operations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Patternmaker in a foundry or related environment required.
Proficiency in woodworking, machining, and layout work.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong math and measurement skills with close attention to detail.
Familiarity with foundry processes and casting requirements is preferred.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must have completed Journeyman's apprenticeship program.
