Payroll Accountant

Government organization is seeking a Payroll Accountant.

𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗬
We are is looking for a friendly and professional individual to work as an Accountant primarily responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions in accordance with government regulations and in compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreements. In addition to payroll responsibilities, this position assists the department with customer service and other duties related to City finance operations.

• Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Adobe and using online resources.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
