Job Details

Apply if you meet this criterion:
  • BS/Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration,
  • 5+ years of current payroll expertise including federal, state, & local payroll compliance work in a CPA firm or public or private industry.
  • Payroll Certification or CPA License Preferred.
Duties:
  • Prepare and process bi-weekly, semi-monthly and occasional off-cycle payrolls for all U. S. based W2 employees and K1 partners. These payroll cycles may also include merit increases, bonus payments, tax and other payments at specific intervals
  • Liaise with our payroll provider to ensure proper and complete payroll processing and compliance with federal, state and local payroll, wage and hour laws and best practices
  • Prepare monthly journal entries for upload to our general accounting system
  • Lead 401k employer match process as well as the 401k audit process
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions
  • Develop and roll-out monthly payroll calendar of key activities
  • Twice yearly full U.S. based employee compensation exercises
  • Annual Managing Director compensation exercise
  • Identify, assess and recommend efficiencies to payroll software, systems, and procedures.
  • Research and document payroll issues, filing requirements, and other issues as required
  • Coordinate with finance and accounting to gather and review financial reporting data.
  • Create, maintain and update all U.S. payroll policies and procedures
  • Perform ad hoc research and planning analysis as needed.
  • Support global audits and statutory audits by providing payroll related information as required
