We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Permanent Payroll Manager to join our dynamic team in the medical industry. This position will play a pivotal role in our organization, managing all payroll functions and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll management, with specific experience in the Workday software platform.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Payroll Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the payroll department.
2. Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.
3. Managing the preparation of relevant reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports.
4. Ensuring compliance with current government regulations.
5. Establishing and implementing payroll policies.
6. Ensuring all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements.
7. Processing and managing garnishments and deductions.
8. Collaborating with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teams.
9. Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any payroll related queries from employees.
10. Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax and deduction laws.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Payroll Manager position, applicants must possess the following:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a payroll management role.
2. A Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred.
3. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Workday, specifically in a payroll context.
4. Proven experience with garnishments and other payroll deductions.
5. Strong knowledge of payroll processes, compliance, and taxes.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
8. The ability to manage and lead a team.
9. Proven ability to handle confidential information.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
11. Bachelors Degree from an accredited University
