Responsibilities:
- Manage and process payroll for all employees in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans (401K), and FMLA.
- Oversee compensation plans, ensuring they are competitive and comply with legal requirements.
- Manage monthly payroll reconciliation and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data.
- Stay updated with the latest changes in payroll and tax regulations.
- Provide support and guidance on payroll and benefits-related inquiries from employees.
- Participate in audits and reviews related to payroll and benefits.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Proficient in payroll software and MS Office Suite.
- Solid understanding of payroll and benefits regulations and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding FMLA, 401K, and compensation.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Professional certification in Payroll Management will be a plus.
