As a Permanent Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the full cycle of payroll processing for over 1000+ employees. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the full cycle of bi-weekly payroll processing for 1000+ employees, ensuring all payments are made accurately and on time.
- Utilize payroll software such as ADP, Paycor, and QuickBooks to process payroll, manage employee data, and generate reports.
- Review and verify timesheets, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
- Calculate and record payroll deductions, such as taxes, insurance, and retirement contributions.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management, highlighting any significant variances or issues.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest payroll trends, techniques, and regulations to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Collaborate with HR and Accounting departments to ensure smooth payroll operations and accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in payroll processing for large scale organizations.
- Proven experience with payroll software, including ADP, Paycor, and QuickBooks.
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively address all questions and concerns related to payroll.
- High degree of professionalism and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
