Job Details
We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, reliable professional to take on a key role within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our company's payroll system and ensuring that all employees are compensated accurately and on time.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervising the payroll team to ensure all payroll processes are executed accurately and on time
2. Overseeing the processing of payroll changes (e.g., new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades
3. Managing payroll taxes and ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and filing requirements
4. Collaborating with the HR department to ensure correct employee data
5. Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates
6. Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any payroll related inquiries from employees
7. Developing and implementing policies and procedures for the payroll process
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a payroll role
3. Extensive knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes
4. Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to payroll and payroll taxes
