Job Details
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Pediatric Dentist to join our dynamic team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a thriving medical practice that prioritizes the oral health and overall well-being of children. As a Pediatric Dentist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care for infants, children, and adolescents, including those with special health care needs. This position requires a candidate with a strong background in pediatric dentistry, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities
1. Provide comprehensive oral health care that includes the following: preventive dental care, dietary recommendations, and use of fluoride and sealants.
2. Diagnose and treat dental decay, oral diseases, and injuries.
3. Manage dental trauma and emergencies.
4. Educate and counsel children and their parents about preventive dental care, diet, and other aspects of oral health.
5. Conduct oral screenings and risk assessments for infants and children.
6. Develop and maintain a treatment plan for patients with special health care needs.
7. Maintain patient records and documentation.
8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive healthcare plan for the patient.
9. Stay updated with the latest developments in pediatric dentistry and participate in continuous professional development activities.
Qualifications:
1. Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited dental school.
2. Completion of a Pediatric Dentistry Residency from an accredited program.
3. Current, valid license to practice dentistry in the state (required).
4. Exceptional clinical skills in all aspects of pediatric dentistry.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
6. Ability to handle a high volume of patients while maintaining high-quality care.
7. Strong commitment to ongoing education and staying abreast of the latest trends and advancements in pediatric dentistry.
8. Ability to work collaboratively with a team, demonstrating professionalism and respect to contribute positively to the work environment.
