Job Details
- Deliver full-scope primary care to infants, children, and adolescents, from well visits to acute concerns
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions per evidence-based pediatric standards
- Collaborate daily with physicians; refer to specialists when needed for complex cases
- Provide culturally competent counseling to diverse families on growth, development, and prevention
- Document thoroughly and on time in our electronic health record; track quality metrics
- Contribute to departmental quality-improvement and peer-review initiatives
- Coordinate care with internal disciplines and community agencies to ensure seamless services
Skills You Need
- Licensed Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner (CT APRN + eligible DEA/controlled substance registration)
- Proven assessment, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills grounded in nursing theory
