We are seeking a seasoned Personal Injury Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will manage a heavy and diversified caseload, which includes handling all aspects of the litigation process for personal injury cases from inception through resolution. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of representing clients who have suffered from personal injuries, mainly due to motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, defective medical devices, defective drugs, and premises liability.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance to clients who have suffered personal injuries
  • Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in personal injury cases
  • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses
  • Conduct legal research and analysis of legal problems
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, contracts, and, deeds
  • Handle pre-litigation negotiations and settlements
  • Prepare and present cases in court
  • Collaborate with the legal team to develop strategies for handling personal injury cases
  • Communicate with clients, colleagues, judges, and others involved in the case
  • Conduct research and analysis of legal problems
  • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses
  • Present facts in writing and verbally to their clients or others, and argue on behalf of their clients

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the state bar
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Personal Injury Attorney
  • Exceptional knowledge of motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, defective medical devices, defective drugs, and premises liability
  • Proven experience in handling pre-litigation processes
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts and legal documents
  • Proficient in legal research software and case management systems
  • Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments based on analyzed information
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
