Job Details:

Our prestigious law firm is seeking a passionate and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be dedicated to advocating on behalf of clients who have suffered personal injuries. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned attorney with a strong background in civil litigation and personal injury law to make a significant impact in the lives of our clients. The attorney will handle all aspects of the litigation process, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and research, as well as representing clients in court, mediations, and arbitrations.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients who have suffered personal injuries in all stages of the litigation process.
• Investigate and evaluate potential new cases to determine their viability based on liability, damages, and client credibility.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, and prepare responses to opposing counsel.
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Conduct settlement negotiations with opposing counsel to achieve the best possible outcome for clients.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for trial and represent clients in court, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with clients, court personnel, and other attorneys.
• Continually update legal knowledge and skills by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Must be a member in good standing with the State Bar.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury law with a strong track record of success.
• Proven experience in civil litigation, with a focus on plaintiff representation.
• Exceptional knowledge of personal injury law and civil litigation procedures.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and develop effective strategies.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work independently.
• Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated commitment to client service and passionate about achieving justice for clients.
