We are seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment where you will be responsible for managing a caseload of personal injury claims from inception through resolution. Our firm is committed to providing the highest quality legal services to our clients, and we are looking for an individual who shares this commitment.
Responsibilities:
As a Personal Injury Attorney, you will be responsible for:
1. Handling a caseload of personal injury cases, including car accidents, slip and fall, wrongful death, and medical malpractice.
2. Meeting with clients to discuss their cases and potential legal strategies.
3. Conducting legal research to stay up-to-date on personal injury law and related legal issues.
4. Drafting and filing legal documents, such as complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
5. Negotiating settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
6. Representing clients in court, presenting evidence, and making arguments on their behalf.
7. Working collaboratively with paralegals and other members of the legal team to effectively manage cases.
8. Providing regular updates to clients on the status of their cases.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Personal Injury Attorney position will have:
1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience practicing personal injury law.
4. Proven litigation experience, including conducting trials, taking and defending depositions, and arguing motions.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues.
6. Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of securing favorable settlements for clients.
7. A high degree of professionalism and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
8. The ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
10. A detail-oriented mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
