Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our fast-paced law firm. This is a permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to become a part of a dynamic team of legal professionals. The chosen candidate will be responsible for representing clients who have suffered personal injuries, managing case files, and advocating for fair and just compensation. This role requires a high level of client interaction, including consultation, negotiation, and representation in court. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plaintiff representation, negotiation, legal research, mediation, and depositions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice to clients and represent them in court
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, contracts, etc.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to advise clients or to prepare cases
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to avoid court litigation
  • Conduct depositions of parties and witnesses
  • Represent clients in mediations and court proceedings
  • Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases
  • Maintain an updated and organized case file for each client
  • Collaborate with legal staff and other professionals to ensure cases are handled efficiently
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in personal injury law and inform clients accordingly

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
  • Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the state bar
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in personal injury law, with a focus on plaintiff representation
  • Proven experience in negotiation, legal research, mediation, and depositions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and cases while meeting tight deadlines
  • High ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with clients, colleagues, and the community
  • A proven track record of client satisfaction and case success
