Job Details:
We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, and dedicated Permanent Attorney to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment within the legal industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Personal Injury law, specifically from the plaintiff's perspective. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience and a proven track record of successful litigation.

Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in personal injury cases.
  • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
  • Conduct research and analysis of legal problems to formulate legal opinions or to predict possible outcomes.
  • Evaluate findings to develop strategies and arguments in preparation for the presentation of cases.
  • Advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, the advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
  • Negotiate settlements in civil litigation.
  • Act as an advocate for clients, representing them in trials, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative proceedings.
  • Communicate with colleagues, judges, and others involved in the case to clarify details about cases.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on personal injury cases from the plaintiff's perspective.
  • Valid license to practice law in the state of New York
  • Valid license to practice law in the state of New Jersey
  • Proven track record of successful litigation, with strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a strong ability to think critically and provide problem-solving solutions.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively articulate complex legal issues and solutions to clients and other stakeholders.
  • Strong research and report writing skills.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated, with a commitment to excellence.
