we are a mid-size personal injury firm with 20+ attorneys and 100+ team members located in Charlotte, NC with significant projected growth in the Carolinas. We are dedicated to excellence and are determined to provide our clients with exceptional legal representation by maximizing outcomes for their cases. We're in need an additional Associate Attorney in the Charlotte/South Carolina area who can effectively monitor client’s treatment, negotiate with the insurance company and medical providers, and supply case approvals and second-tier client contact.

Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000 starting salary based on experience for the first 12 months! Compensation is 100% commission after the first year with a full and mature case load. Newer attorneys on commission average $125,000+/year (once on commission a full year) and more senior attorneys average $200,000+/year.

We are seeking a dedicated and seasoned Personal Injury Attorney to join our dynamic team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in handling personal injury cases, specifically related to car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents and drunk driving incidents. This role requires a strong commitment to upholding the highest standards of law and ethics while fighting for justice on behalf of our clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all phases of personal injury and wrongful death cases from inception to resolution.
2. Take the lead in personal injury claims involving car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, and drunk driving incidents.
3. Conduct comprehensive case investigations to determine the validity of a claim.
4. Develop and implement case strategies in alignment with client goals.
5. Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
6. Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and defense attorneys in an effort to provide the best possible outcome for clients.
7. Represent clients in court, presenting evidence and arguments to achieve successful case resolution.
8. Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and legal developments.
9. Stay updated on legal trends and developments in personal injury law to provide accurate and relevant advice to clients.
Qualifications: Must currently hold a NC State Bar License OR a SC State Bar License. PI experience is a plus! Preferred 5+ years of legal experience.
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. No Personal Injury experince needed.
4. Extensive experience in handling cases related to car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, and drunk driving incidents.
5. Proven track record of successfully negotiating and litigating personal injury claims.
6. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to interpret laws and regulations.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop effective legal strategies.
8. Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, to effectively communicate with diverse clients, opposing counsels, and court officials.
9. Ability to manage a large caseload and work independently.
10. High level of integrity and professional ethics.
11. Proficiency in legal research software and case management systems.
12. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
13. Commitment to providing exceptional service to clients and maintaining client confidentiality.
