We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Personal Injury Case Manager to join our thriving legal team. This role requires a candidate with a passion for justice and a deep understanding of personal injury law. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex personal injury cases from inception through resolution, including motor vehicle collisions, slip and fall accidents, wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, and toxic tort cases. Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, ensuring all cases progress in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case development and strategy.
  • Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies to negotiate coverage and settlements.
  • Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and law and motion practices.
  • Handle all aspects of case management including docketing, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Work closely with senior case managers and legal team to develop and execute case strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to clients about case progress and potential outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the legal team in the preparation of legal proceedings.
  • Handle mass torts, class actions, and product liability cases as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager or similar role.
  • Proven experience handling motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and toxic tort cases.
  • Proficient in legal research, drafting legal documents, and managing case files.
  • Strong knowledge of law and motion practice, depositions, pleadings, discovery, docketing, and motions.
  • Experience managing personal injury claims and negotiating with insurance companies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish required
  • Ability to translate depositions, intake, answer questions etc. from English to Spanish and vice versa
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage a heavy caseload.
  • Proficient in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and work effectively in a team.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
