Personal Injury/Mass Tort Attorney

Our client is a well known national boutique plaintiffs lay firm based in Dallas TX. They exclusively handle plaintiff PI cases, including a mix of mass tort and single event dockets.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage a caseload of personal injury and mass tort cases from inception through resolution.
2. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
3. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents.
4. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
5. Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
6. Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the efficient and effective handling of cases.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal trends, and court decisions affecting personal injury and mass tort law.
8. Provide exceptional client service, maintaining regular communication to keep clients informed about the progress of their cases.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and an active member in good standing of the state bar.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury and/or mass tort litigation.
3. Proven trial and deposition experience.
4. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
5. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain positive client relationships and work effectively with diverse teams.
7. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
8. Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
