Personal Injury Paralegal

Our client is an exciting and growing plaintiff personal injury law firm in the Financial District. With over 20 attorneys and 50 support staff members, they are able to handle a wide variety of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premise liability, Labor Law, workers' compensation, product liability, and more. As a family-run legal practice, their lawyers are committed to guiding accident victims and their families through the complex litigation process to obtain full compensation after a serious or fatal accident. They are trial attorneys.

The duties of the position focus primarily on plaintiff personal injury cases on behalf of injured individuals including typing letters, communicating with clients and insurance companies, ordering and indexing medical records, assisting with discovery and pleadings, filing, and other administrative duties including answering phones.

Requirements:
At least 2 years in a law firm handling plaintiff personal injury cases and Labor Law cases
Experience drafting Bills of Particulars
Comfortable evaluating medical summaries and drafting discovery
Strong communication skills and experienced working with a high volume of cases
