Job Details

We are currently seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our team in Charlotte.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of successfully advocating for clients who have suffered personal injuries, and experience trying cases to a jury verdict.

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex cases, providing legal advice and representation to clients who have been injured as a result of negligence or wrongdoing by others. Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert legal advice to clients, explaining complex legal terms and issues in a clear, understandable manner.
  • Representing clients in court, presenting evidence, and making compelling arguments on their behalf.
  • Negotiating settlements with opposing counsel, striving to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients.
  • Conducting thorough and detailed investigations to gather evidence.
  • Drafting legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
  • Staying updated on current laws and regulations related to personal injury law, ensuring our firm's practices remain compliant.
  • Collaborating with our team of legal professionals, sharing your expertise and learning from others to continually improve our services.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
  • Licensed to practice in North Carolina.
  • Proven track record of success in personal injury cases, including court trials and settlement negotiations.
  • At least 2 years of experience trying cases to jury verdict.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear, understandable manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
