As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will be tasked with managing and nurturing our high net worth and VIP clientele. This role requires a dynamic, customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. You will be responsible for servicing and renewing an existing book of business, providing exceptional customer service, and creating comprehensive insurance proposals. The role demands extensive knowledge in personal lines insurance, including property and casualty, life, and health. A strong understanding of underwriting and claims management is also vital.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a diverse portfolio of high net worth and VIP clients, providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships.
2. Conduct policy analysis to ensure coverage meets the clients' unique needs and circumstances.
3. Facilitate policy renewals and adjustments, ensuring a smooth and seamless process for clients.
4. Develop comprehensive insurance proposals tailored to the clients' specific requirements and risk profiles.
5. Collaborate closely with underwriters to secure competitive pricing and coverage for clients.
6. Manage and resolve claims efficiently and effectively, ensuring clients are kept informed throughout the process.
7. Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.
8. Work closely with other team members to achieve departmental goals and deliver outstanding service.
9. Participate in continuous professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in personal lines insurance, specifically in a high net worth or VIP client management role.
2. Proven track record in customer service, policy renewals, and proposal development.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of property and casualty, life, and health insurance.
4. Solid understanding of underwriting and claims management processes.
5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
6. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to conduct detailed policy analysis and develop tailored insurance proposals.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and resolve claims effectively.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
9. Commitment to continuous professional development.
10. Relevant insurance certifications or designations would be an asset.
