Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Personal Lines Manager to lead and supervise a small team while also overseeing the daily operations of the Personal Lines Department. This role requires a hands-on leader who is well-versed in personal insurance operations, committed to process improvement, and skilled in people management. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, workflow management, and superior client service across the department.

Key Responsibilities:
Personal Lines Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily activities of the personal lines department.

Supervise, train, and support two personal lines team members.

Monitor performance metrics and provide coaching to ensure service excellence.

Resolve escalated client service issues and ensure client satisfaction.

Maintain strong relationships with carriers and underwriters.

Ensure policies are accurately quoted, bound, and issued in a timely manner.

Maintain compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:

3+ years of insurance industry experience, with strong knowledge of personal lines.

Prior leadership or supervisory experience required.

Active Property & Casualty Insurance License.

Proficient in agency management systems (e.g., AMS360, EPIC, Applied, or similar).

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of insurance carrier underwriting guidelines and rating platforms.
