This full-time, permanent role is a unique opportunity to work on state-of-the-art scientific equipment and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of high-tech mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulic equipment, PLC, controls, vision systems, and production equipment such as cappers, labelers, cartoners, and bundlers.

Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance checks on all equipment, identifying potential issues and implementing preventative measures.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and PLC systems.
- Operate and maintain aseptic production equipment such as cappers, labelers, cartoners, and bundlers.
- Utilize vision systems to monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments.
- Provide training to other team members on the operation and maintenance of various equipment.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure equipment efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and training activities.
- Comply with all safety and operational guidelines and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management, providing updates and reports as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanic/Technician in the scientific industry or a related field.
- Proven experience with hydraulic equipment, PLC, controls, and electrical systems.
- Experience with aseptic production equipment such as cappers, labelers, cartoners, and bundlers.
- Proficiency with vision systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively train others.
- Bilingual skills are a significant asset.
- ASEPTIC experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality.
