Job Details
The Pharmacist will provide direct patient care specializing in chemotherapy and supportive care by managing medication plans, monitoring for adverse effects, and educating patients and providers. Key responsibilities include verifying and reviewing chemotherapy orders, collaborating with oncologists and the care team, participating in clinical research, and ensuring safe medication practices throughout the patient's treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities:
- Medication Management: Verifies and reviews chemotherapy orders, optimizes treatment regimens, and monitors patient responses.
- Patient Care: Provides extensive patient education on cancer therapies, manages medication side effects, and offers supportive care resources.
- Collaboration: Works as an integral part of the oncology team, consulting with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Research: Participates in clinical research protocols, contributing to advancements in oncology pharmacy practice.
Qualifications:
- Education: A Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
- Licensure: Active pharmacy license.
- Experience: Significant experience in oncology pharmacy practice
